Traveling Light Counseling is, a group private practice working to enhance the mental well being of kids, adults, families, and couples in our community. We are looking for part time and/or full time Clinicians to join the group practice as an employee.

 

Clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual, family and group therapy to clients of Traveling Light Counseling, with one location in Port Saint Lucie. Clinical therapy services include treatment of adults, adolescents and families. Treatment specialties must only include: children, attachment disorder, ADHD, Depression, Emotional Dysregulation, Anxiety, family, Divorce reaction, Grief and Loss, Twice Exceptional, Highly Sensitive.

 

Reports to: Owner and/or Clinical Director

Compensation is percentage based on income received, and paid out monthly. Therapist must have a niche(s) (in one of the populations in which we serve) and be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community. Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians. Candidate will be contractor status.

Other Qualification Preferences:

• Minimum 2-3 years post independent licensure

• Prior experience in a private practice setting.

• At least three years’ experience post-unrestricted licensure.

• Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).

Minimum Qualification Requirements: 

• Master's or Doctorate in counseling or social work; andActive, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of Florida (must be fully licensed). A copy must be provided to Traveling Light Counseling.

• Available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Traveling Light Counseling.

 

Hours:

Work hours and schedule may vary depending on patient and Traveling Light Counseling needs. Hours include some nights and/or weekends. Therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that Therapist will be available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Traveling Light Counseling. Patient sessions are held in the offices of Traveling Light Counseling.
